Kindergarten in Pechersk

The British International School, Ukraine (BISU)

Open to children aged 5 to 18 years.

Our students study and grow in an international environment, fostering a friendly atmosphere of mutual respect and mutual support.

We support academic success, cultivate talents, foster continuous learning, encourage creative thinking, instill social responsibility, deepen global awareness, and prepare students for international university admission.

Our curriculum challenges children to evolve as open-minded researchers, well-rounded individuals, and global citizens.

BISU is a member of the COBIS (Council of British International Schools)

Teaching to COBIS standards means our students receive the same quality education as those studying at the best private schools of Great Britain.

What is the British education system

Bilingual education

We offer:

  • National Curriculum of England and Cambridge IGCSE qualifications (taught in English).

  • IBDP or A-level pre-university programmes (taught in English).

  • Ukrainian curriculum approved by Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science.

Individual approach to each child

BISU is a happy place for happy people, and all our students feel safe and enjoy learning. We are child-centred, and our students’ aspirations must always come first.

Lessons are provided in small groups, with both a teacher and a facilitator present. This ensures that each child receives the necessary attention, helping them learn and absorb information efficiently. Additionally, a professional psychologist is available on-site.

Enrichment activities

We help students supplement their academic knowledge with skills and virtues needed in the 21st century, including responsibility, creativity, critical thinking, decision-making, independence, creative approach to solving problems in life, the ability to communicate and collaborate.

We also offer a variety of enrichment activities, such as personal growth, entrepreneurial and leadership programmes.
